Is there a reason why the picture stops but the sound continues?

I don't know if this has happened before, but a few days ago I noticed that the LED light was frozen, so I unplugged it and restarted the dashcam.

When I got home, I noticed that the picture was frozen in one place, but the sound was not.

I had such issue but with Mobius Maxi where image froze and it kept recording only audio.
MicroSD card was red version of Samsung EVO Plus 512 though.
It never crossed my mind to blame the card cause few hours with the same image had files with adequate sizes, so device clearly kept writing to card, just the data itself was invalid.
I'm guessing it's most likely firmware issue. Isn't it?

So sorry for the inconvenience. Actually, the card you use is not recommended.

It is better to change the recommended card to test. Besides, how many channels you use at the same time? Please detach the rear camera to confirm if the issue persists. BTW thank you Viofo for updating this article on recommended memory cards for Viofo dashcams. The recommended/not recommended lists now match the A139 Pro's FAQ list of what memory card to use in that dashcam (there was earlier confusion in the forum because of slight differences).

FYI Viofo sells the Integral microSD Security Card on its UK website. But it's not listed as a recommended card. I have one and it seems to work just fine.
