Dash Cam
Front A119 , Rear A119S v1
I had two Viofo A119 cameras installed in my truck during the last 5-6 years. I sold the vehicle and removed the cameras but not the hard wiring or mounts. I was thinking it might be worth my while to just get a new one. The main front camera the A119 served me well with no issues over the 5-6 years in the Florida heat and sun. The back one not as well. I think it was the A119s.

I had hard wired mine in an interesting fashion. Had a multi usb hub hard wired to the back of the 12v cigar socket , then ran the usb cable for each cam to the usb hub.

I'll probably upgrade if it's been 5-6 years and keep the A119 as spares in case the new ones go bad. Maybe consider the Viofo A129 Duo

Thanks. I was thinking about that but also the street guardian

SGGCX2PRO+

Probably a good choice too, they seem to be pretty reliable, but personally I never had them before which is why I didn't recommend it. I mostly use Viofo and Thinkware, just started trying out Blueskysea B4K recently.

I've been running an SGGCX2PRO/SGGCX2PRO+ (Upgraded the original PRO to a PRO+ via firmware) with optional rear camera for over 2 1/2 years now with no camera issues at all. Highly recommended.

Edit: First put into service Sept. 2018, so almost 3 years now.

You have 2 (old) side cams ready to install next to your new dashcams.
