What do you guys think of placing the camera mount on-top of the tint area as pictured below... could this damage the material on the windscreen that the vehicle manufactures use? It will prevent the sun from liquefying the glue under the mount in the 40 degree heat.

Are you fitting that to a Subaru by any chance?
Roof lining looks like Subaru type. :D

I mounted my itronics high up behind the anti-glare, the uppermost part of the windscreen. When you remove the mount, just apply some alcohol or cleaning solution to remove the residue (if any).

Great mounts in that area. You can't destroy that black dots even if you want.

enjoy,

40 Degrees...........That's cold......

I've scraped those dots with a razor blade before without hurting anything....it should be fine with the mount...

PS, I have similar LED bulbs in my car...they work great! ;)

Why do you need to remove some portion of the the anti-glare when you mount your DVR?
