Hi.
I've had this cam for 10 months:
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/B0792S4CV9
Only using the front one. Never connected the rear. Anyway, I wasn't really reviewing footage until 3 months ago and I noticed that at least 80% of my footage from say two days ago was missing. From one day ago it would be at least 25% of it missing. Going back further at least 90% is gone. Right now on my memory card I have footage going back 12 weeks or so, but of course it only has like 1 to 5 three minute clips each day even though I do much more driving than that everyday.
I've checked for the same thing a couple times since and same thing. For instance, just yesterday I did at least 1.5 hours of driving and a good half hour is missing including when I left the house in the morning.
One thing I haven't done is go through the footage at the end of the same day as opposed to a later date and see if anything is missing. I will start doing that soon. Has this happened to any of you guys? I want to get a dash cam for my other car and I think I'll go with a different one and see what happens.
I use it with a Sandisk 16GB Class 10 SDHC UHS-I Up to 80MB/s Memory Card that I got at the same time. It has excellent reviews:
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/B0143RTB1E
I plan on formatting the memory card now and then see if same thing happens afterwards. If so, then swapping out the memory card with another one I have for my video camera.
Have any of you had the same problem?
