Hey guys I noticed people mentioned quality between Estore and Foxoffer camera's does anyone know the parent company that designed/engineered this camrea? I mean they all use the same housing for the different models and looks like the same board I understand they may be made in different places but I am just wondering.

Do certain sellers have better quality camera's over other sellers? Just wondering would like to find out maybe who makes this camera and see if they have a preferred selling/manufacturer for it. Seems like the packaging can be quite different depending on who you buy it from.

Thanks!

there are 6 different boards (perhaps more) for this model that I know of, they are not all created equally, it's hard to get the decent ones now as buyers typically try and push the cost down and suppliers accomodate them

Recently the police started not responding to accidents in my city unless there is an injury two days later I was rear ended by someone who said I stopped in the intersection ( I did not) anyways took a while fighting with his insurance company but I get paid for the damages.

When this happened I figured it would be a good idea to start advertising and installing these for people.

Jokiin I see you are a manufacturer, I am going to school for electrical engineering as of now I want to develop a burn in test for camera's before they are sold/installed.

I live in an area with extremely high temperatures so I can only use the G1w-C

My idea for the test was get the camera near operation temperature max, record for 12 hours, rest for 12 hours, record for 12, then cycle the camera every 30 minutes for 12 hours while remaining at near max operating temperature.

I do not mind paying for more for a better camera/board combo within reason for this price segment. Do some sellers consistently carry the better configured boards?

for G1W-C there has only been one version but I think someone has done a second one recently

it uses capacitors instead of battery which means it's safer, that doesn't automatically mean it is good for high temps though, there are still other limitations to the CPU and CMOS, depends what temps you're trying to run at

Well once the vehicle is on AC will be turned on but at first I imagine temps would easily get to 150F during the summer depending on the vehicle maybe even up to 180. But once the vehicle is on temps lower due to AC of course. So they would not be running unless triggered in parking mode. (other camera's)
