Not back to the factory. Not yet anyway
Yes, just to the back of the car, as a rear view camera.
The mini 0803 was an eye sore, as the front camera on my Audi A3, it was just to huge to be hidden behind the rearview mirror, instead it was above the head of the passenger...Plus issues with the flimsy dock, dock connections/shim, random file corruptions (Sandisk class 10 sd card issue I think), Random shutdown (heat?), did not give me much confidence..
Instead I have got the B40/A118 discrete camera for my Audi A3 to be the front camera.
Small enough to be behind the mirror and seems reliable (more than mini 0803 anyway).
Also I have powered both cameras with a single hardwire kit, with a USB hub (converted into a spitter).
Is this OK, or 2 separate hardwire kits are recommended ?
