This will be my last contribution for this dashcam. (inner sanding on print required to fit)

Its an adapter that snaps onto the front securely and allows for 1.25" filters to be screwed into it.
This is useful for those who want to use a different CPL filter or who want to use a custom lens with a polarized filter instead of gluing on to the lens.

How long will this adapter last? Since you're using a 3D printer to make it. How will it handle the heat in the car? Will it melt at 30 degree C vs something manufactured at a plant?

it depends on what material you print with, but it will easily withstand 150 degrees F. Its ABS.

normal ABS will works until 100 degrees C.
