I downloaded a wildlife documentary video file ("Animals are beautiful people") from internet with missing audio. What could be the reason for the missing audio and how can I recover it?

It could be a issue of the audio being in a codec your computer dont have, i suggest trying to download K-lite codec pack https://codecguide.com/download_kl.htm
Or try another player like pot player that come with its own bundle of codecs.
