Mobius bug - red instead black

this wasn't before, i noticed it only today, becouse i see that sometimes when i turn on ignition recording indicator not blinking, but turn on all the time.
no recording in this mode, but video output signal present.
first 5 sec power is stable, i know about it.
if unplug and plug again usb connector - indicator start to blink.

try all firmwares (1.13, 1.17, 1.20), wdr on and off, wide and narrow, 180 degrees on and off.
from external power and from internal battery.

what can it be?

It looks as if your lens ribbon cable is coming loose or damaged. Open the camera and make sure the connector bar (clamping tab) holding the ribbon cable is completely closed. At the same time, verify that the ribbon cable is correctly inserted (straight).

Then your ribbon cable is most likely cracked. It is impossible to see the crack with the naked eye. It may also be cracked where it enters the CMOS casing.
I'm afraid the only way to be certain is to replace the sensor or lens assembly. I don't think you can buy the sensor by itself, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Mine did a similar trick. Not just black to red. All colours went weird. The cable was fully connected.
You can buy lens and cable replacement from eBay. Cost and freight make it nearly the same cost as a new one. :-(
I contacted the seller- http://www.ebay.com.au/usr/eletoponline365?_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2754
They asked me to send it back for replacement.
Did that yesterday, so it may be a couple weeks to get a result.
