I was trying to get the camera level and realised that even if the case is level the image is not. Close up shots of the lens (below) show that the sensor plate is not parallel with the lens base. Undoing the two screws holding the sensor plate to straighten things up would not help because the two tiny placeholder pins won't allow movement. My non-invasive solution was to stick two small pieces of folded insulating tape to level the lens base in the case.
This is not an issue for those using an adjustable mount because the mount compensates for the small imperfection. My Mobius however is attached to the car directly with Velcro which should be wedged but that would reduce the stickinness of my attachment (I had tried).
