Mobius charging without disabling auto recording

Is there a way to manually charge the battery without going into GUI to disable auto recording when powered?

Yes when you power on the Mobius just hit the power button to turn it off and charge it.

Use a USB Data Transfer lead (As opposed to power only) and plug into a PC USB port.

This will not change any settings? After manual charging I just mount it back to car and will work as before?
Reason I'm asking is the car is not used enough and with our freezing temperature would like the battery full charged .

Yes, when it auto starts just turn it off via the power button. No settings will change, I do it all the time since I use mine outside the car as well.

Don't charge the battery complete for storage Lipo batteries prefer a medium charge for storage.
