I'm looking to install two cameras for use on my cycle. Currently thinking, camera for front view mounted on my vented helmet and a 2nd camera for a rear view mounted under my saddle. I would like to be able to comfortably record around 2 to 3 hours between charges without worrying about the battery (so possibly 5 hours of recording). I don't believe the internal battery would give this so does anyone know of a really lightweight and small battery that I can use to give me this.

Or some other solution to do this?

TIA

Welcome to DCT. If you have Amazon Prime, the Anker Astro E1 is only £6.59 delivered for today only...

It's only got 1 USB outlet, so I suppose you'd need 2 of them?

The Anker PowerCore 15600mAh is even better value at £10.49 delivered, but probably too heavy for your needs...

Thanks for this. The Anker E1 is a good item but I still think it'll be too heavy to be helmet mounted. I was looking at this thing (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/B010GAP65M) but even that is still quite large. Can you get really small battery banks that are about 1000mAh? I'm thinking of some of these small keychain ones that are designed to give a small top up to phones. However, it'd be perfect for the mobius to keep it going for a few extra hours.

Old thread, but I'm wondering how you are getting on with it on a bike?
This is currently my intention, but the joovuu waterproof case doesn't allow the use of an external charger/supply. Are you using something else, or not heading out in the rain?

Zero progress I'm afraid mostly down to laziness to actually get the mobius mounted on my cycle but also more recently not being able to use my cycle. Hoping to get it mounted on the cycle in the next week as the camera is just sitting there catching dust.

Ah, shame.
I've just started cycling again in earnest, but its -1,°c here, so defintlay less than ideal! The impact on battery life is shocking at this temp as well, just be aware.
