Mobius malfunctioned - USB won't recognize.

Hi

Thanks in advance in someone can help.

I've got 2 mobius cameras and I'm having problems with one. Every time I insert the USB into the laptop I receive a message to say the device has "malfunctioned". I've tried different laptops and get same message. I've deleted the USB driver, took battery out, restarted PC and still message. I've tried many tricks to get the USB to see the device but including the command line of "sfc /scannow".

I've tried another cable too and different ports.

On the device manager it states "Device Descriptor Request Failed".
Within properties:
"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

A request for the USB device descriptor failed."

Driver version 10.0.10240.16384


If the above helps someone solve this or if anyone requires me to give more information please post below as I'm at a loss how to solve this one.

A shot in the dark, but

1. is this with cables it came with?
2. Did You try the SD card into an SD card reader to see if its recording
3. How long have you been having the problem.
4. Have you tried another computer.

For the half year I have had my Mobius, I have used it on my Windows box, but not my 'nix. Thought never occurred to me. Tonight I will try.

I had a recurrent similar error message from one of our Mobius cams and my suspicion was the memory card.
