I've been searching dash cams for a while now and based on amazon reviews it seems like most of them have a chance of failure in under a year. I found an old article here from 2017 and people mentioned brands shadowtec, mio, streetgaurdian, and transcend amongst some of the more durable.
I live in Maryland, USA so we do get below 0 F, and above 100 F extremes. Not entirely sure how hot it gets inside our cars during summertime.
I like that viofo offers 18 month warranty and streetgaurdian a 2 year warranty. What other brands has everyone had good experience with lasting a couple years or longer?

12 month warranty is up... What then?
All good when having problems when the Camera is still under warranty ... lots of help going around in here ... but what happens when the Warranty time has expired .. and your Dash Cam stops working .. what then?? 1. Where do you take it to get Fixed? 2. Is there any place available to repair...
