Mounting question

Is taping the cradle directly to the windshield the best way to mount the camera? Is anyone mounting their cameras differently, for example with a suction cup mount or attaching to the rear view mirror?

Also, does the included adhesive tape leave any nasty residue if I have to remove the mount for whatever reason?

Most people just use the standard sticky mount for the Itronics cameras. You can see this thread for some alternatives.

No residue from adhesive tape. I used my (Visa) card when removing the Itronics from the windshield.

Depending on your dashcam is possible to use some suction cup but you need to study the possibilites and use an idea like this.
