My M6 Plus no longer has video

Street Guardian SG9663DCPRO (front cam only)
I can take a snapshot using the phone app, and that works just as expected, but there seems to be no video. Is this a fixable problem? Or do I need to shop for a new dashcam?
 
Can take a snapshot means the camera itself is no problem, in APP Settings you could set the option of "picture" or "picture with a short video clip".
