My video tests A810-2

Like a few others here, Eve has reached out and sent me the 70Mai A810-2 4K dashcam. I recieved the kit with a rear camera (not yet installed) and a HW kit and a 4G HW kits. A CPL for the front camera was also sent.

As expected nowadays, presentation boxes are of a high order - images below.

At the end of this post is a short sample of the dashcam's front facing recorded footage, no adjustments except to change the speed readout to MPH, so HDR on and left at 4K resolution.

Indeed, there is nothing wrong with the packaging of these as far as my old eyes can see.
Or that is, the CPL filter, it really should be part of the package, CUZ the people not needing a CPL are few and far in bettween.

Just went to the car and the dashcam told me there was a firmware upgrade, but I'm struggling to get it pushed via the app. Will try again now I have a cup of tea to sit in the car with while it does it...

Updating VIA phone / APP have been uneventful here. i have to admit for my dislike of phones OTA are quite nice none the less.
