I recently bought a NanoCam+ BDVRS knowing it was not the best camera around but it was less than half price and it its simplest form it would record and and I could review footage on my laptop - that works OK and quality of the vid is not so bad.
However I am trying to change settings via my phone and nothing works. I have installed the app, my phone says it is connected via wifi, I have updated the firmware but when I change the settings for the dash cam in the app, it says settings failed - and nothing changes. When I go into WiFi settings on the app, in the wifi ssd there is nothing listed and in the wifi password - if I enter the 12345678 default password and hit confirm, nothing happens.
I have uninstalled the app from my phone and reinstalled it but now the dash cam does not switch to Blue indicating it is recording, though I can switch wifi on and off at the dash cam - why do they use Wifi and not bluetooth.
Any help would be appreciated before I throw this in the bin.
