Yes agreed it is expensive but that's what happens when someone like me wants it fresh off the press... Prices here in Canada have gone rouge over the past years or two making $33 dollars seem like a steal LOL. Would prefer a round one like that on Taobao but we'll give the other a go I'm sure it'll be fine.

Just got the new A810 yesterday. A few glitches:

Put it in my Tesla. Holy moly it needs a CPL filter badly. The flare and reflection from the Model Y are windshield is really bad. I hope they release the filter soon!

CPL Filter for the A810 popped online. I don't think its the original one, but still an option

Watched TRAVELTECH (YouTuber) the other day test out same CPL on the A810. I purchased the original (I think) still waiting for it to arrive.

Ended up receiving the original CPL as first shown in this thread (ACC-CPL2). And I got the stripped down packaging to boot, smaller plastic case, no labeling, and CPL was wrapped in small pieces of transparent brownish cellophane. CPL looks fine though guess that's what counts.

I think it's because the lens is very wide, if it's round, it will either need to be quite tall/big or it will vignette, if it's big it will hit the windshield

Round one with rotatable ring have shown up on AliExpress, not sure about vignetting, I think the slimmer without the ring would be better, set and forget, no chance of spinning on its own (due to poor machining/tolerances)

I see the official 70mai store on Aliexpress is now selling the CPL filter, although sadly the delivery takes much longer than the sellers that Daijoubu listed above. I wonder if an “unofficial” CPL filter would be that much different in quality than one from 70mai themselves?

I’ve only just ordered myself the A810, without the CPL filter. So I was wondering, as someone who lives in grey and miserable UK, is it something I need to bother purchasing? If any fellow Brits or Western-European folk could advise, I’d be very grateful.
