Good morning, my name is Ryan and this is going to be my first post on this forum. I’d like to share my experience with my Cobra SC400D dashcam that was delivered to me on March 16th. I also purchased their hardwire kit and GPS suction mount. The unit worked flawlessly for approximately six months when I began to have intermittent problems, first with the power supply, then with WiFi connectivity, surveillance mode stopped functioning normally, etc. What followed was a series of emails both to and from Cobra product support from an employee of ‘Cedar Electronics’ who I assume is the parent company of Cobra. These emails went on for over a month, and I received what I would describe as increasingly complicated, confusing, and often contradictory replies. I don’t want to put words in anyone’s mouth and my final email last night informed them that I intended to post screenshots of our discussion(s) on a forum of experts-as my concerns have gone unresolved. Let me know what you think, and I would caution you if you are considering purchasing anything from this company; they may not support their product after purchase.
