Why not? 1920x1080 = 2.07MP. Actually, GS9000 has 2.1MP sensor, model OmniVision OV2710. good news, this senors has bigger pixel(3um) than 5MP sensors(2.2um). it's better to have sensor with bigger pixel, so each pixel gets more light. this affects on night video quality. also 2MP has right aspect ratio, so image has wider angle compared to 5MP sensor.
