Hello, I'm new to dashcamtalk dot com. I have an SJ4000. I love it, I think it's great. (but the battery does get hot, I let it cool for ten minutes before recharging) . I paid $73.99 at B&H on 9th avenue. My previous cameras, two Canons and a Fuji, all developed cracks around the tripod base hole, and it would have required a new body, which would have cost more than the cameras were worth...
I call it a Bike Cam, but technically the cargo carrier on the Citi Bike is a sort of dashboard... It looks like I had another camera with me, yes, a Canon SD1200, which shot this photo of the *Mounting Hack* , four zip ties and a selfie stick...
I am now using the SJ4000 in the single frame every 5 seconds mode.
