Now i am off to tidy up the bird nest that is my glowe box at the moment 😎

There is one little problem with this PSU, it have a ON/OFF button you have to press for it to start.
This offcourse dont work with dashcams that need to record with key on.
So i have circumvented that by gluing a little piece of plastic over the button so it is permanently pressed down. 😀

On the way home tonight i had all 5 slots loaded, one charging my phone - one charging my USB power bank, and the remaining 3 running dashcams.
On the 1 hour drive home the unit in the glove box only got moderately hot, i expect no issues even if i put some stuff in the glove box.

After install ( could not mount in "roof" above glove box as that surface was too round )

Finally a little video recorded with the SG9665GC on a power-leash 😛 sorry for the shake guys, im home now and high on pain killers.

Just a short heads up on my experience so far using this power supply.

And it is all good 🙂 the only slight problem is the USB wire i use to power my mobius in the back, for some reason it have a very loose contact with the camera, so i will try to modify the plug on the wire, and if that done work i will get a new extension cable.

On the first day i did have my SG9665GC ( on a 1A outlet ) create some wierd folder on my SD card with a lot of wierd files inside, i assume this was due to a coincidence while i still was pressing the power on button on the PSU to start it at that time.
In my computer looking at proberties for that wierd folder it said it was 176 Gb large, which is "BS" as i run a 64 GB card, the files inside was a plentora of formats and not a single one worked as they seemed to be just headers with no actual size to them.

The day after i moved the SG9665GC to a 2.4 A outlet and since then its been smoothe sailing and no wierd folder/files, i have yet to try it back on a 1 A outlet, but i assume that will work too as it did do that the first day too ( aside for the wierd folder/files created )

The 2.4 A outlet powering my tablet now work as supposed when driving, i can use tablet for stuff with screen on full brightness, and still get it to charge about 15% for every hour of driving.
Much better than the old setup there the power was about 15% in deficit so it slowly discharged while driving, in spite of beeing plugged into a 1 A PSU.

My phone on the 1 A outlet allso charge, while i use that as a access point to the interweb for the tablet 🙂 it do however only charge slowly, but thats okay as i never rely for charging my phone in the car, and if need be i can turn it off to get a faster charge ( i can do that as ppl are so kind never to phone me and only a handfull of ppl have my phone number )

So far i can wholehearted recommend this solution, seem to be able to handle single cameras on 1 A outlets ( my C3 and mobius run smoothe ) and if you have some power hog of a dashcam or other gizmo there is the 2 fast charge outlets with 2.4 A

And if 2 fast charge outlets aint enuff and you can make do with 4 outlets there is the ORICO MPU-4S which have 2.4 A on all 4 of its outlets, and it too have the smart stuff inside so it will work with "fruit company" devises and other normal USB devises.

When the summer really kick in here i will do a parking test in the middle of the day ( hopefully 30 deg C outside temps ) to see if the PSU get too hot and fail, will power the whole setup with a 220 V / 12 V converter my friend have, and mesure temperatures with his temp gun if we can find it, otherwise i will just look in footage from all 3 cams for any shutdowns.

Only issue is the power on/off button, but as explained in #2 thats a easy fix 😎
