I just started researching dash cams several weeks ago looking for a very small dual camera model with an inside camera. While shopping in Best Buy yesterday, I walked through the Dash Cams aisles.
I stumbled across an Insignia Dual Camera model NS-DCDCHH2 or 19E25A on a wrong peghook. Insignia is a Best Buy house brand.
A web search at Best Buy came up with nothing.
The Best Buy salesman could not find anything but it did let him sell it to me for $99.99
I just set it up last night. It was very easy.
Is this a pre release unit? I tried searching on the the web for anything about this Insignia model and came up with nothing.
Specs:
1080p front and rearMic
2" LCD display
Super Capacitor
G-Force
148 degrees front, 110degrees rear
Dimensions 3.7 High, 2" Wide, 1.2" deep
Weight 2.6 oz

Does anyone Know anything about this unit?

Interesting looking design - what does the knob do? Any mention of the processor and/or image sensor anywhere on the box or manual?

Edit - Nevermind on the knob, just realized it's probably the rear camera.

I believe the knob you are referring to is actually the inside camera. The only literature in the box was a quick setup guide that had very limited specs which I have included. There was a website address to go find more details in the online manual. But there was nothing there.
I will check to see if there is any information on the camera menu.

Yeah the "knob" i assume are the cabin camera.

"148 degrees front, 110 degrees rear "

Why is the rear so narrow? It's not going to record the driver's actions and provide proof they weren't using a phone if it really is 110 degrees, or maybe that is not what you want it to do?

One would hope they have the 2 numbers mixed up, 110 deg will be fine for a front camera i think.

True, should be able to read the USA number plates and have nearly all the interior covered with it mounted backwards!
