New Yi Dashcam - dead pixels

Hi All

I just received my new Yi Dashcam today.

I tried a few different recordings at different resolutions and fps but they all have dead pixels showing - I have seen other users with the same problem but no fix - has anyone come across this issue ? Wondering if it's a software or hardware issue - have tried factory resetting the camera but same problem.

I have contacted the seller for a replacement unit on amazon, but if this is a known issue is it better to go for a different model ?

Yesterday I received my second sample of Yi Dash Cam from amazon.de and I have the same issue with it - dead/stuck pixels are visible in 1080p30, 1080p60 and 1296p30 modes from cold start. I have fewer of them than Your camera but they are annoying - my old Yi Dash doesn't have such problems (both cameras are International versions, newer one is V1.2).
