Hi All,
I have just got a nextbase 320XR front and rear dashcam installed, which I thought was going to be hardwired into the fuse box. I’ve just found out that it was actually installed to the OBD. When I queried this with the installer they stated ‘that’s how their company is installing them all now as that’s the better way of doing it.’
I’ve not done much research about OBD as I thought it was going to be hardwired but from all I’ve read online it seems that people are complaining about OBD killing their batteries? Is it an issue that my dashcam is installed this way and should I get it changed to hardwired?
Thanks!
