Hi I recently got a Nextbase 512GW as a gift I have a couple of queries if anyone can help. I’m new to dash cams and wanted a suitable rear dash cam that would also give me the parking mode feature. Do I just purchase another cam to be fitted to the rear? Also if I get a separate rear view do I need 2 hardwire kits?

First thing to note is that nextbase is soon to release the rear camera as an add-on that works WITH your 512gw, you should see there is a little socket on your cam that the rear cam will plug into
it will run directly off your front facing 512gw without the need for extra power cables. I would think as they will both work together "as one", parking mode will work for both front and rear together
