Use an old smartphone that you no longer use and install GPS app (search Google Playstore for GPS SPEEDOMETER)

Blowed if I want the cops to know how fast I'm going!. :D

I don't want the dashcam to record speed.
But if you want something nice you can install HUD.

You can buy them for about 40$ on eBay.

iirc at least one of the smartphone APPS gives you an HUD mode.

I don't have a cellphone let alone a smart one.

Yeah yeah, alright, but this is meant to prove you were NOT speeding...... ! Anyway, please note that my pictures also show the kompass, which way you're heading, AND there are also apps that show the map, OR the address where you're at.....

Some time back I was looking at an app to display my speed digitally since the speedo in my bus is difficult to read (it's in kph & hidden behind the steering wheel.
The speed was displayed in large, green numbers on a black background.
I'd not bothered with this for some time - since I tend to use the 'waze' app (which displays speed), but I came back to the speed app again the other day.29mph.png
Because of this, I noticed that my cam picked up the image as it was reflected on the screen - amazing really when you consider the sharp angles involved! Here, I'm doing 29mph.
