No video history or whatever.

I recently bought this one, the first one that arrived alreayd didnt boot up, so i returned it by mail and bought a second one. This one did start up. I also bought this new sd card:

So i first formatted the sd card on my pc, then i put it in the dashcam and powered it on. I heard the "hello dingdingpie" and after 5 seconds "sd card is initializing, please do not remove or shut down". so after that I could see my video live on the app and whatever, went to work. I also pressed the remote a couple of times. i heard the shutter sound so today i wanted to check these clips that it should've saved. In the app i had no files in there, i can only see it live. i can take a picture and it'll save it to my device, but no history. So I formatted the card in the app, I can see the capacity of my sd card in the app, i press format and during formatting it keeps "ding"ing in intervals of like 5 seconds (a little random). When it reaches 100% the dialog goes away but the dinging keeps happening. when in app i go back to "camera storage management", the formatting automatically starts again from 0%. The sd card is brand now, works perfectly on all other devices (e.g. my GoPro hero 8). What should I do abou tthis? already had to send one back because it was broken, kinda feel like this is a wortheless dashcam

Also, looks like it DOES make a video, but it's 0kb, so idk what is going wrong? Faulty dashcam (again??)?

According to your description, the camera seems no problem:
1, Snapshot button: the short video clip/picture will be automatically downloaded into APP's album when DDPai APP is connected with the camera;
2, Recording history: slide the touchscreen and then you will see normal recordings there, these video clips need to be manually downloaded into APP's album;
3, You could also see all recordings in PC directly;
4, The above file folder you mentioned is for temporary files which is not playable, when TF card is inserted into the camera and powered on, then the camera pre-allocates the temp files to take up the entire available storage space of the TF card, its purpose is to make writting speed faster.
5, You could see all recordings in another folder.

Hello,

1. It did make the sound, but no files are saved to the sd card. Also can't see them in app.
2. Also, as you can see on the screenshots, there is no history (after like 3 hours of driving and multiple presses of the button).
3. all other folders are empty. No videos can be found
5. as said above in 3, all other folders are empty, it did make the structure, but it doesnt put any files in there.
Still doesn't explain the weird formatting bug that it keeps beeping and keeps formatting again when i open the menu
