Just a quick hello,

About a week+, installed front/back BlackVue DR970X-2CH Plus, hardwired on a 2025 Honda Hybrid CRV

After installation and Google Play setup of app, updated firmware and have left all default settings "As-Is" (IOW, have not changed anything)

Perhaps that is why, each time anyone opens door and sits down, it "speaks: An impact has been detected"

So, time permitting, will find some sensitivity setting and dial that down or disable it.

Did not enable any kind of Cloud Subscription and don't plan to.

If I buy a larger SD card, any suggestions?
Anything else to "tune up" this dash cam?

Thanks!

I can not recommend any particular card for this, CUZ i have 0 experience with this brand.
But ! i do know they are finicky with cards so dont go assuming anything will drop right in there and work.

How are you liking the video quality?

No complaints about quality, albeit the "Live View" at low resolution is pretty bad.

Since I have the videos on my SG23 Ultra, there should not be a need to pop out the SD card, in a situation where I needed to save or email a specific video ?

Am trying to wrap my head around an accident situation where I may be a witness to an accident and can help -or- where I am party to an accident.

Just want to be prepared.

I've used 128 GB and 256 GB SanDisk Max Endurance cards with this dash camera without any problems.

I use the SanDisk 512GB High Endurance Micro SD in the BlackVue DR970X Plus LTE and have had no issues.
