Hi,

I am interesting in getting a dashcam, but I am concerned about the temperatures. I have to leave my car in an uncovered carpark during the day on 40deg (celsius) outside and when I get into it crank the aircon to a comfortable level to drive. After looking at your reviews and esitmating the inside temperature would get up to 60deg or more, which dashcam would be the more robust to handle the heat? I dont need one with a GPS.

any decent cam will be rated to around 70c, it normally only becomes a problem if you want to use parking mode where it needs to be able to operate reliably at such high temps, if you're just using it when driving it won't be an issue, the temp will drop rapidly once you get in and start moving

Thank you jokiin,

I was thinking of hard wiring it in to make it a bit more discreet, so I would leave it on.

it can still be hard wired without using parking mode, depends what your needs are
