Optimal loop time?

What’s the optimal loop time for this camera (1/3/5 min)? Does loop time generally make any difference in dash cams?

Off hand I would say it is a matter of preference, but most here use 3 min.

I generally use 3 or 5 min with the B1W so there's not too many files. On some of my cameras with much higher bitrates (~60Mbps) I tend to use 1 min so each file is not so large.
