I just got this dashcam and it's not even powering up The DC adapter metal power bayonet that plugs into the camera doesn't go in all the way? Does the adapter have a light so you know it has power? I'm in the Annapolis area Maryland is there anybody in the area I could meet to see if it's my adapter or the cam?

Are you sure you have the right socket? Make sure you're not trying to jam the DC plug into the GPS socket.

I think you'll find that they're different sizes/shapes. ie not interchangable

Maybe it was the A/V socket, but I heard of people bricking their cameras by putting things in the wrong sockets. Maybe it wasn't this camera..

LOL, yeah sorry I'm not that stupid, sometimes I wonder the gps and av/out are smaller and the power adapter doesn't even start to fit in those.
