I have recently bought this dvr firmware

1. Like to know if I am on current firmware and If not how and from where I download the latest.
2. I plugged that to cig lighter and when I turn on the vehicle the day starts to work but time changes to 3 hours more than my current central Chicago time. I set the time everyone but I when it's starts it goes back to 3 hours more again.
3. How I shall setup the dvr. Shall I connect to all time positive through internal wiring and setup using motion or is this how everyone is setting up through cig lighter.
4. If you can guide me through ultimate setup I appreciated it. I can't have it all time recording as I Park on streets so can't have the display on the whole time.
