I’m using a 70mai A500S Pro Plus with the RC06 rear camera and the hardwire parking surveillance cable. When the device was on firmware v1.5, parking mode worked perfectly.
A few days ago, the device forced me to update to firmware v1.7 (I didn’t request it, the update prompt appeared automatically). After the update, parking mode stopped working correctly:
This problem started only after the v1.7 update, so it seems to be a firmware bug.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Any solution or a way to get the previous firmware (v1.5) would be really helpful.

- When the car is off, it shows:
“No parking surveillance cable detected. Please enable parking surveillance after connecting the cable.” - But the camera is actually powered by the parking cable (if I unplug it, the camera turns off).
- When the car is ON, it detects the cable without any issue, but when the car is OFF, it doesn’t.
- I tried two factory resets, but nothing changed.
This problem started only after the v1.7 update, so it seems to be a firmware bug.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
