Plate number/custom text not showing up.

I set via the mobile app settings, a Plate Number and Custom text. However, it is not being displayed on the bottom of the footage along with all the other info.
I do not see a On/Off toggle in settings, only see those for the normal stuff, date, speed, gps, model, logo.

Does Plate and custom text only appear under certain circumstances?

Am I missing a setting somewhere?

A329T 3CH. Current public firmware.

Both. They do not show up anywhere on the video footage, live or recorded. I have seen such stamps on videos shared here and online though.
I confirmed the settings were saved, and they still show as filled in in the settings, both in app and on camera.
Cam has been power cycled a few times too.

I remember your front video is set to 21:9? Do the plate and custom text show if you set 16:9?

It has been set to 16:9 since i got the telephoto camera.
It is currently set to 16:9 when i added the Plate and custom text.
Not showing.
This is the first time i have tried to use this feature.

EDIT:

I did notice a odd thing perhaps.
When i went to add the text in the app, the text box field was full of spaces to max character limit already.
I cleared out the spaces and put in my text.
