Playback error

when i playback my videos on windows 10 laptop, the bottom display IE:- speed, location, & Giro stops after a few seconds, even though the video is still playing and has minutes of time left to play, even though the display shows it all, its nice to have everything working correctly, is it a software or firmware problem or a problem with the machine recording the footage,

if the info is still in the video (without dropping out at all) but it disappears from the player I'd lean toward that being a player issue
