Playback on smartphone?

My apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere (I searched!) but can I play back recordings on my A119 v3 on my Samsung Galaxy s8. I know the v3 doesn't have wifi so I can't use the (much criticized) app. But is there a cable solution with the viofo plug on one end and a s8 charging port sized plug on the other (rather than the USB)? It would be nice to play it back for a cop responding to an accident without asking to use his PC or having him sit in my car looking at a 2" screen. Thanks in advance.

I would just take out the micro SD card, put it in an adapter and connect it to my phone. Of course, I've planned ahead and have the adapter on me at all times.

I have a card adapter to read into my iPhone, but the viewing app was removed from the App Store due to it being a security risk. What app do you use to read the micro SD card?

If you have an Apple Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader you can easily import videos (and photos, of course) directly into the Photos App that comes with your iPhone.

I have an Android phone (GalaxyS8) and don't need any app. I just plug the reader into the jack and it shows up as USB connected.
