Hi guys.

I'm looking to buy two dash cams and I decided to go with the GS1000.

Should I get

-the GS1000 SMH4.35.160712B

or

-the GS1000 SMH4.36.220812B

The difference in price is quite nice seeing the first guy has a 10% off discount.

Do you think there's a big difference between these two firmware versions to be worth the extra $$ ?!?

One other thing that I noticed is that in the cheaper cam's listing, they show the content of the box and that's usually the content of the fake GS1000(it has the power adapter for the USB cable).

I say that cuz all the fakes I've seen listed have the same picture(with the power adapter) and I asked the seller form the more expensive listing and he said the cam doesn't come with a home power adapter for the USB cable.

It might be that the seller from the first listing just added a stock pic intead of the actual content of the box.....which might be a problem for him cuz if I don't get exactly what's in the pic I'm gonna ask for a refund.

Aliexpress and Alibaba is not working anymore with Paypal but Alipay, but if you have a Visa Card you can use it for payment.

You don't want another ITB-100HD because now is very expensive? If were still $174 would you buy it for your wife?

I like more GS2000 but I would paint it all in black. I don't understand why a dashcam can have any color except full black, because a dashcam is not a bling-bling.

Well I'm looking for something cheaper now, and with a 70$ difference in price, I think one of these would be enough.

I also found this one which is a little cheaper and it comes with the latest firmware...at lease that's what they say.

I would take 546628673 because they show good images from camera menu.
However, it is impossible to say anything based on this website information because
1. they can lie.
2. camera electrics might be the same but optics might be different.
Only way to know witch is better is to take both and compare them side by side.

Sorry I was in a hurry and I posted the wrong items.....now everything's OK.

I just talked to the seller of the cheap camera and he told me it's the blue menu.

How the did that happened ?!?....I thought the SHM4.xxxxxx version came with the orange menu !!!

For the cheap camera (listing 665969906) look at the feedback from Nov 17, 2012. "Instead of declared original firmware smH4.35.160712B) but seller send me firmware u1.1.1SB1KB."

The real ones still come with firmware 4.35 or 4.36. Perhaps this will be faked soon but I haven't seen that yet.

So this is just another fake....if I would've been in that guy's place I would've asked for a refund in a hear beat....and if the seller wants his cam back he'll have to pay for the return shipping.

This way, if they're both the real deal, I can put them side by side(plus the ITB-100HD) and see if there are any differences between the two and compared to the ITB-100HD.
