poor picture quality

Can I ask, is ir normal to have such poor image quality on the 322gw?

I researched before upgrading and it had great reviews, I have it set to all the default settings, daytime its fine, evening/night time, its frankly rubbish. have attached a screenshot, of an image from thonight at different stages through the night.

Im right near 2 cars and I cant read their reg number for example ? (Ignore the dates I was just testing it for the first time tonight)

My first observation with the first image is I think you are showing too much sky.

I've always tried to get the camera pointing as close to 90 degrees or maybe a touch lower. Yes this shows more dash/bonnet/hood but it works better with the cameras EV and gives a brighter image.

Night images are what they are and there is little you can do other than make sure the lens and windscreen are clean.
