Hi, I have a very frustrating issue with my dashcam. Sometime it comes on for a while and sometimes it doesn’t. When it does, the blue light flickers and goes out and a short time later the dash cam shuts down.
It’s hardwired with a Nextbase kit. I’ve tried it in my other car and it works fine. I’ve tried the dash cam from the other car and that has the same fault- so it’s a power issue?I’ve tried two hardwire kits in various fuse locations. No difference. It works fine with the cigarette lighter adapter so I tried that fuse position - no good. I wired in a separate cigarette lighter in the same fuse positionand tried the cig adapter in that- no good. Every time I switch on, the blue light flickers, dies and after a short time the dashcam shuts down, presumably because it’s not been charging and the battery has died. It makes no sense to me.
Please help. It’s driving me to distraction. Thanks.
