I'm leaving on a 2 week vacation soon and I was wanting to set up my two Mobius dash cams in our home to trigger video capture based on motion detection. I do plan to test this as soon as I'm home tonight but I wanted to get input based on anyone's experience on using motion detection previously.
-Is motion detection fairly sensitive and reliable? How long of a video does it capture [or can I define this in the application?]?
-On a full battery charge, can it last approximately 2 weeks to trigger video capture based on motion? I imagine that it is dormant or on some kind of standby and begins using most of battery as soon as it begins capturing. Or is it "on" the whole time and likely going to die from power usage within a day?
