I am a non-tech oriented dashcam user. Vantrue provided me it's E360 to review. Others have gone into a lot of technical detail. My review is more average driver oriented.
What said, I want to point out one of my vehicles has a 3 channel BlackVue DR770X Box installed and the other has a 2 channel Thinkware u3000. A prime consideration of my selection of those two cameras was cloud connectivity.
That said, I am very impressed by the E360. It is in fact a high quality bargain.
The quality of the image surpasses both my BlackVue and Thinkware.
The 360 view is great for parking lot situations as it sees the corner areas of the vehicle. In other situations the 360 view loses detail. However, as impacts obviously happen closely (as will most other important events) this was not a problem for me.

Installation was quick and no surprises arose. I had plenty windshield real estate in a 2020 Rav4.

I have some long commutes and as a result the camera stays alive in parking mode throughout the night.

If not for the lack of cloud ability, I would give serious thought to replacing both my BlackVue and Thinkware with this camera.

Both the BlackVue and Thinkware have inferior image quality and have had warranty-covered replacements and intermittent cloud based issues.

Vantrue has a LTE module for the E360 for cloud ability. Why not ask Jeff from Vantrue to send you one for testing?
