I get these a lot. What can cause this?

if you reach the point where you think you need to load codec (think of it/them as a decoder code for how to use/play your files), you can find places to get them, the one i used for my MOV files that also gave me trouble was..
go to... http://www.cnet.com click on DOWNLOAD, put K-LITE in searchbox & enter (i think i did the K-Lite Codec Pack Full)

Basicly i will fix my pc or wife's pc , but giving advice on installing stuff to others is a risk i really dont like to make. So... read up on your error on the internet, lots to read, come to a reasonable solution(s) and try what they say. My two links are just an idea, not to be taken as absolute cure, just a starting point in your research.

FYI... codec must be downloaded for correct platform, so verify what you download (if you do) is for your Windows/Mac/iOS/Android/whatever
