Rear cam not working?

I have 2 vehicles with a DR900 2CH, wired in with PMP. They both worked great for about half a year, but now, the rear cam turn on for 10 secs, and turn back off.
I swapped a replacement DR900 front cam, and coax cable, and I have the same issue.

Anyone know whats wrong?

Sounds like a rear camera issue, unfortunately. Is the cable port loose on the rear camera?
Try a firmware reflash by going to http://blackvue.com/downloads and following the instructions in 8 steps at the top there.

I think we have here somewhere whole huge thread about rear cam disconnection (i'm unable to find it right now). There are mentioned multiple attempts to solve this.

IMHO to my understanding it might be most often caused by fried chip which handles the deserialization of the data stream from the rearcam. (try to touch the coax connector...) Once the damage is done even temperature outside can trigger/"solve" the issue.
