Rear view always-on monitoring

Hi:
A little off topic but I am sure many of you have an opinion for me: -
I want to run a live camera for the rear view and use an 'always-on' monitor somewhere on the dash
I have been thinking about a 7 inch rear view monitor which clips over the regular rear view mirror (similar to one sold by tadibrothers.com)
Anyone out there using such a system; what is your set up?

Sounds interesting. Are you looking to record as well or just have it as a live reversing camera?

No, not for recording; I already have a rear-facing Itronics for that.
Before leasing my Odyssey, I ran a rear view cam from the rear cab top on a F-150 and viewed the always-on result on a dashtop-mounted 7" monitor but eventually the Arizona sun melted it (the monitor) and it stopped working.
With the Odyssey there is not much room on the dash for anything and I don't want to drill holes , hence the mirror-mounted monitor thoughts.
I was hoping some of the forum readers might have some input, or at least have experience with a mirror monitor.
