Hello, I just got my hands on the DVR-207 and will be testing it out tomorrow. I know the 207 has gapless recording. Should I set the record time to OFF position for gapless recording, is that what you guys have it set to?

Gapless recording refers to there being no loss of recorded footage when the camera ends one file and begins another. For example: I have my 207 recording in 5 minute segments. When I view the last few seconds of any given 5 minute file, and then watch the first few seconds of the next consecutive file, I will not see any significant loss in time between the files.
Set it for 5 minutes and move along.

Don't use OFF. It will actually record segments about 15 min in length, BUT it disables automatic recording and loop recording.
