remote control issue

Hi,

the weekend I was on a motorbike trip, the cam attached to the helmet and remote control on the handbar.
Wifi was off, display timer 2 min, auto off disabled. Photo mode 10 sec

It happend to me several times that the cam was not responding to the remote control. When taking of the helmet to check the cam the display was on and in Wifi mode. I never pressed the wifi button on the remote.
Turning off the wifi the cam was responding again to the remote.

I could switch between photo and video and start video or photo every 10 sec.

Any idea?

Is it possible that the menu/wi-fi button was being pressed? Maybe it was a bad fit in a waterproof case...

hm, hard to say. I thought of some issue with the remote control.

maybe you fat fingered the remote buttons? if that's not the case, try changing the remote battery

thats what I thought at the first time as well. but second time no fat fingering involved. battery was changed 2 weeks ago, as original battery was nearly dead on arrival.
