Remove dashboard glare for less that a Quid

I only recenlty got my G1WH, but the glare from the dash on the windscreen bugs me. Here is my solution that cost next to nothing.

1-Take a pair of 3d glasses you get at the cinema. (I think you can but them from the pound shop)
2-Pop out the plastic lenses.
3-Cut out a circle, I found a 10p is the right size for my G1WH, I think the G1W is the same.
4-Look through the plastic at your windscreen and rotate it till you find the sweet spot that cuts out the glare. You have to make sure you look through the plastic the right way aswell.
5-Stick it to the camera, I used some double sided tape.

Job done. There is a before and after shot attached.

Don't forget to remove it in low-light / at night, as it reduces the light passing through it by up to half, depending on orientation.

Looking though the it there is not a noticable reduction in light comming through, see the images attached.
You wouldn't want to be in the cinema and the screen be dark, they are not sun glasses just polorising ones.
I will try it at night and report back.
