Hello again awesome people !!

I know that A129 Mini 2 live feed can be watched in mobile app or browser (using ip adress.. http streaming? ) when connected via wifi.
Now can one get rtsp or rtmp live stream from this awesome dashcam?
I want to run some object detection algo on it.

Thank you

I suggest you use the http stream, since I believe that is what the app uses, so is going to work on all Viofo dashcams, while I don't think there is any official support for rtsp, it just happens to be there on some of the cameras, but apparently not all. (I don't know if it is available on the Mini 2, but it is just rtsp://ip_address if it is available.)

So sorry that A119mini2 cannot support wifi station mode, so you cannot get rtsp or rtmp live stream from this camera. You can only check the live view on the camera or through the VIOFO app after connecting to the camera wifi.

@VIOFO-Support
Thanks for chiming in !

Is there any way to set iso and shutter speed manually ? Like firmware mod or something...
Would you guys consider giving access to those ? Even if in a no further support offered kind of way.

We don't have a plan to add this option. We did this before like adding an advanced option in our previous model A119s.

If your phone connects with the camera, normally you can access the rtsp stream on VLC using the URL: rtsp://192.168.1.254.
In the future, it is possible to support live broadcasts, we need more time to learn and implement this feature.
